We've got our first swell of the season spilling through on Friday 2nd Jan 2009. Its going to be a solid one that should hang around for 4-5 days till 7th-8th of Jan.
 
As always SURF DUBAI will at the beach from first light to last. Please see group lesson timings below.Come down and get in the water!

SURF DUBAI is now offering Stand Up Paddle (SUP) lessons!
  
 
 
SUP's are super fun boards to ride, a fantastic form of full body excercise and best of all; you don't need waves to ride them.
 
Paralleling the SUP growth in Europe, America, and Australia, SUP's are becoming all the rage in the Middle East.
 
SUP Lessons are availalbe 7 days a week from 8AM onwards!

SURF DUBAI is looking for Assistant Surf Instructors for next season (Winter 08/09).
 
Job description:
 
Working as surf instructor at 'Sunset Beach'. Teaching surfing + general errands and equipment maintenance.
 
 
Requirements:
 
  • Competant surfer
  • Good people skills
  • Beach Lifegaurding Certification
Applicants will recieve free surf coach training from Surf Dubai Head instructors.

Our next SURFARI WILL BE LEAVING AT 11AM on Thursday 26th June and Returning at approx 10PM on Saturday 28th June.

Risky Surf Skateboards (RSS) are a revolutionary new product designed for surf training, getting to the beach, and just pure fun!

 

RSS come in both Epoxy and Wood models and a range of designs.

 

The epoxy boards are all hand shaped and are manufactured in exactly the same way as a high performance surfboard. Whilst the wooden boards are put together in the same way as a performance skateboard.

 

All boards are installed with the patented ‘pivot-swing’ font truck. This key feature of the RSS allows the skateboard to mimic the movement of a surfboard riding a wave. Behaving just like a board on a wave, the rider gets the feel of surfing whilst on a RSS and can keep practicing those surf skills until the surf pops up again!
